Information Technology (IT) Manager

Responsible for managing the Company’s information technology (IT) operations; overseeing the IT support staff; ensuring maintenance of hardware and application software; planning and overseeing of projects and budgets. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support department staff including personnel training and development. 
  • Install, maintain, back-up, secure, troubleshoot and enhance performance of company servers.
  • Develop and maintain emergency plans to address equipment, power, or security failure to ensure preservation of technology and data. 
  • Installation and troubleshooting of computer hardware, software, and operating systems. 
  • Monitor the timely completion of help-desk tickets by IT staff. Respond to off-hour support tickets of emergency nature.
  • Maintain security on all systems. 
  • Website development and maintenance experience a plus. 
  • Ability to work on ongoing system interface projects. 
  • Communicate with all departments regarding current and future IT needs. 
  • Work to minimize use of outside consulting expertise. 
  • Ability to work well with technical and non-technical people. 
  • Scout for inefficiencies and pursue improvements within all the business enterprise.
  • Travel as needed. 
  • Performs other responsibilities and duties as needed


  • Three (3) plus years of experience in information technology strongly preferred
  • Network administration in both LAN, VLAN and WAN technologies.
  • Knowledge of ISP related technologies including VeloCloud, AlienVault, SonicWall. 
  • Experience working with Microsoft Windows Server 2012-2019, Office365, VMware ESXi 5 – 7, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Windows 10, Linux, Mitel/ShoreTel VoIP, Dell Servers, Nimble SANs, Routers, Switches, Active Directory administration and concepts.
  • Experience working with McLeod Software a plus.
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn programming language.
  • Good communication and people skills.
